This post shows lots of images from Purley, Reading, Berkshire. Not sure if it is my age but I absolutely love getting out and exploring our beautiful surroundings so when I was asked to make a book of our local village for one of the local girls – Emma, who was moving from Berkshire to Hampshire. I was more then happy to take this little project on.
My youngest daughter was happy to join in too and so for a few mornings we grabbed our cameras and started wandering around photographing places and people that would make Emma smile. There was so much to photograph so I will not include all the images but I have to say I loved getting out really early with my little colleague.
I am always stopping to take pictures during my morning runs too on my iPhone then uploading them to my twitter account or Facebook page via instagram. It is a great little application that is so quick and easy to use on your iPhone.
Why? I just fall in love with nature and get the urge to share some of the gorgeous morning scenes. I hope someone will see some of my images whilst looking at twitter in the morning or checking out Facebook and be inspired to get out running or mountain biking. Its great for your sanity and helps the waist line
I was told that the present was the only present that had ever bought tears to Emma’s eyes.
I included an image of the local postman in the book so ended up showing the post lady (his colleague) the book when she delivered it. Here is the lovely note she put through my door the next morning. I think the postman got a little teased by his colleagues too, but he did not mind.
