The morning I went Netwalking with Nigel | Mixing work and pleasure | Goring, Berkshire.

At the beginning of the year I attended a social media presentation at the Bear Hotel in Hungerford by Nigel Morgan of Morgan Pr.   It was a very interesting talk exploring the different uses of different types of social media and helpful ways of using them in business and as a result I started to follow Nigel on twitter and set up a linkedin account too.   I also took some advice regarding twitter and have to say it was true and I now love using twitter and have met some very inspiring documentary photographers on there.  I have since met quite a few really great people in person now turning them from virtual friends into real friends . 🙂

Nigel contacted me via twitter recently & suggested either meeting for coffee or to go net walking!   He sent me a link to give me an idea what this netwalking was.  Basically it is an unique concept that gives you a chance to talk/net work without being interrupted by phones, computers etc  whilst getting some fresh air and taking in some beautiful scenery too.  We would meet up with his collie Teg and take a walk and chat .  It was a no brainer for me – Netwalking it was.  I love exercise and the country side.  I made the right choice as I got a coffee at the end too anyway.

I also got to use my new fuji X100 camera on this walk which was fantastic as it is so light to carry and I absolutely love it.  I will post about this gorgeous new purchase in a later post though.

I enjoyed the experience and would be more than happy to repeat the experience in the future.  So Nigel if you need some more images in six months, get in touch as I will certainly have more questions. 🙂

Teg enjoying herself

Teg bumps into her best friend (her next door neighbours dog).  They honestly got on really well despite Teg’s mate looking a bit vexted in this image. 🙂

Teg the amazing performing dog 🙂

Thank you Tina and rest assured it was great fun having you on the dog walk too and I adore these photographs!

Naturally you would be welcome anytime, with or without camera… although what I need is some headshots for the new website. How would that work? Suited and booted for netwalking in the countryside?

The photographs speak for themselves, but I would like to add that Tina is personable as well as professional and hence why she has captured such stunning photographs.

A lovely set of photographs Tina. Teg looks like a great subject to shoot….oh and Nigel too 😉
I love the walking through the woods shot, it is so atmospheric and tells the whole story in a single image.
