Aldermaston Manor Wedding Photography

Sam & Richard first booked their wedding for September 2010. Sam fell pregnant with their first baby and would have been heavily pregnant for that date so they changed the date for 2011.  Imagine my surprise when I met up with Sam & Rich 6 weeks before their wedding to find Sam with a large bump.  Yes, their second baby was on the way.  This time Sam & Rich kept the date and Sam looked absolutely stunning in her dress with her bump and gorgeous flower girl Layla (their beautiful daughter). 🙂

The weather forecast had been heavy rain for the wedding day and the most of the morning see grey clouds and very heavy rain however as Sam arrived at church the sun shone and apart from the odd shower the weather was fantastic.  I battled with rain and sun all day whilst taking photos but was very happy that the day turned out perfect.

They married at St Nicolas a beautiful local church and their reception was held at Aldermaston Manor.  I was very excited to photograph a local wedding as I often mountain bike past the church and knew it was a beautiful but had never been inside.

We dodged the showers for the group photos and managed to get them all pretty quickly despite having to move inside for some then back outside.  This was not a pain however and actually added interesting variety to the images.

The reception had so many personal touches and lots of them that included different aspects of the use of photographs.  Mum has hired me as a surprise for the evening, disposable cameras on tables, polariods to make an arty book full of memories by the guests as well as a fab fun booth. I found the use of images amazing and was in awe of how the family had made the most out of photographs to record this special day.

Rich’s dad owns his own entertainments business and had lots of his dj’s with him for the disco, it was a sentimental moments when Richard’s dad announced his son’s first dance & Sam’s mum made the most amazing cake which was so professionaly made.

This wedding was such fun and personal and I wish Sam & Rich and their family lots of happiness.

Sam & Richard are fab parents and gave Layla loads of special attention on their big day whilst enjoying time with their guests.  It was very important to them that Layla was a big part of their day.

Their mum’s surprised Sam & Rich with a photobook story or their lives too which was handed over by Sam’s dad during the speeches – see images below to see the tears and laughs this photo book gave to them at the top table.

Evening entertainment included  black jack & roulette tables to keep the guests entertained.  These where busy all evening and the guests already had some money (these cool dollars with Sam & Rich’s faces on) as a table gift.

Looks gorgeous Tina, St Nicholas is such a beautiful little church and the bride looked so stunning that you hardly even notice her bump!
