What if money was no object? I would still be a photographer

What would you do if money was no object?

This was asked by the great Alan Watts.

In recent years due to various reasons the photography industry has became so saturated I actually worry there will be more photographers then couples getting married one day – For the first time in 16 years I actually questioned my future as a full time wedding & portrait photographer and too much thinking made me realise how much I REALLY love what I do and never want to stop and it would break my heart to go back to working 9-6 all week for all sorts of reasons.

It was whilst photographing a human pyramid late last Saturday (a groom and his ushers making a tower by kneeling on top of each other!) I giggled to myself at how lovely, crazy, and varied  my job is and I am so lucky to be doing this, I have worked so hard to get here and can never turn back.

Last weekend I helped out photographing a charity event at Wokefield Park then photographed a wedding at Easthampstead Park.

It was such a busy weekend but both evenings I came alive, I laughed so much with everyone, I observed and documented truly happy events and then yesterday and the day before I received these lovely thank you messages.

Hi Tina, Thank you so So So much for your kindness in helping our Dingley Charity on Fri, everyone had a fantastic evening and also everyone commented on how lovely you are! We were so lucky to get you! x x x

Dear Tina

Steve and I wanted to write to thank you very much indeed for the excellent service you provided in the run up to our wedding last Saturday and on the day itself.

You worked very hard. You were very friendly and flexible and the photo booth worked well- thanks for putting up with Steve and his ushers doing pyramids!!

We look forward to hearing from you about the photos but until then – A massive thank you

With kind regards

Katie and Stephen

So I will never stop doing what I love I will just continue to adapt and change with the times.
