Claire & Harry – A Wedding reception at The Coppid Beech Hotel

I hope you have had a really good summer.  It has been a busy summer for me and a very lovely one.  The blog has been very quiet as a result.  The good news is that I have lots and lots of weddings to post now.

As a Berkshire Wedding Photographer  I thought I would start off with some Coppid Beech Hotel Wedding Photography and the wedding of Claire and Harry.

Claire and Harry got married at their very local and beautiful church St Michael & St Mary Magdalene  in Bracknell, Berkshire followed by a wedding reception at the Coppid Beech Hotel.

I started the day off at Claire’s parents home.   Claire was very relaxed when I arrived with her family and friends around here. The beautiful little flower girls had fun relaxing together as they waited to go to church.

Next I drove to church where I met up with Harry and photographed the arrivals.  Harry was also relaxed with his family, ushers and best man and was enjoying meeting all their guests as they arrived.

Claire got a little emotional as she entered the church, a mixture of tears and giggles made the ceremony very beautiful to watch.

Claire & Harry then went on to enjoy a great reception full of love and laughter,.

Here are some of my favourite images from the day.

Easthampstead Park Wedding Photography | Lee & Beth’s Wedding

Beth & Lee’s wedding was filled with emotion and lots of personal touches that had so much meaning to Beth, Lee and their families.

Beth really enjoyed every moment of planning the wedding and the day was everything that she dreamed of.

The wedding and ceremony was held at Easthampstead Park in Wokingham, Berkshire.  The sun shined, the bridal party where fantastic and Beth & Lee and their families had a fantastic time celebrating.

It was lovely that Beth’s brother who was abroad at the time was able join in the celebrations with the help of skype and an ipad during the ceremony and  even at the speeches.

Here are some of my favourites below form the wedding day and the Clear Moments Photobooth in the evening.

Really like the black & white’s on show from this wedding Tina – gritty, with contrast, which is right up my street! Enjoy the shots where you widen out the image too and tell a little more of the story.

Portraits in Purley | Berkshire Portrait Photography

When I first got into photography I started out photographing motor cross, it was fun recording speed learning different techniques but after a while I had enough of the motor cross track, sold my own motor cross bike and I decided portrait photography was for me.  I spent five years working in a studio before leaving to start my own business.

I do not show much portrait work on the website but will start to show more from now on.

Once a month I hire a local hall and advertise studio portraits in Purley.  I then advertise this date on my business facebook page.

I have not blogged many portraits recently despite having hundreds so here are a few favourites for now.

A Berkshire Wedding | Wedding Photography at Easthampstead Park in Wokingham

At the end of April I photographed Steph and Andy’s beautiful wedding at Easthampstead Park in Wokingham, Berkshire.  It was a perfect day.

There was some rain but it stopped at all the right times and the sun would shine.

Steph did not require coverage of the morning preparations so it was off to find the men first.  I found Andy and his two best men with Roy the toastmaster in the reception room having their button holes attached and started shooting away.

Next I went outside with Roy to wait for Steph to arrive.  Steph arrived early & waited in the car a little way up the tree lined drive way to make sure Andy and the guests where safely in the ceremony room before the car drove up to meet us outside the entrance.

Stephanie was just full of smiles and laughter as soon as the car door was opened.  It was such fun capturing Steph and her dad get out of the car and the start of a lovely day photographing such a lovely bride.

Beautiful back ground music was provided by the Saffron Strings during the ceremony and reception.   This was lovely for the guests and perfect for me as it complimented the audio I was recording which is to be added to a photo film for Steph & Andy.  Check out the website in a couple of months to see some examples of these.

After the ceremony, the group photos, some relaxing time with their guests and a few romantic images, Steph & Andy went on to have a receiving line, a lovely meal  (the food at this venue is lovely) and speeches.  Roy had everyone clap very loudly and stomp their feet at the couple where introduced in and out of the room.  The speeches where after the meal and If you do not believe how lovely and funny the speeches where too you can also check out the photo film too.  🙂

I really enjoyed taking natural photographs during the evening and a perfect day was completed with a perfect evening.

Below are some kind words from the Stepahanie followed by some of my favourite images from the day.

Hi Tina

We have just got back from our honeymoon. It was lovely to get home and have the wedding photos to look through already.  Thanks for putting them up so quickly. I’ve had a look through and they are brilliant, there are some really lovely ones, so thank you very much for capturing the day so well. Andy and I had a fantastic time and it was a pleasure to have you there as our photographer.

Thanks again for doing such a great job and for being such a pleasure to work with.

Best wishes

Lovely wedding documented there Tina. I think my favourite image is the father of the bride and groom exchanging glances during the speech, there’s a lot of love and mutual respect going on there.

Lovely set of images Tina. I particularly like the one of the couple stood by the large gates.

Portraits of a beautiful family | Berkshire Portrait Photography

Although we had lots of fun taken these photographs, the shoot was also mixed with some sadness as Charlotte, Dennis, Molly and Olly would be emigrating that month and are missed especially by Sienna (my youngest) as she adored little Molly.

The good news is they are all very happy in their new home and the powers of face book keeps everyone in touch and up to date with any exciting news.

Below are a few favourite images from a family photo shoot taken in the studio in Purley.
